| Who are we and how did our website start? | | |
 | ManchesterTheatres.com - the definitive guide to what's on at the theatre in Manchester, England - is the brainchild of the people who brought you PrideOfManchester.com, the website which celebrates life in the Rock'n'Goal capital of the world!Noticing that there wasn't many other sites on the Internet that listed every theatre in Manchester with any real local knowledge, we set about providing a guide to what's on and where to stay nearby. Not only can you see which productions, shows and gigs are coming to Manchester, but you can also buy tickets online and even book your hotel near the venue itself. | | We provide information about each of the theatres; how to get there, where to park and seating plans too, and you can even sign up to our mailing list for regular updates and latest news about upcoming productions (click here to sign up).ManchesterTheatres.com doesn't just concentrate on the large theatres either, we created the 'other venues' page that covers all theatres and theatre groups in the North of England. If you are a smaller theatre or a theatre group and want us to list you, contact us and tell us all about yourself and any website information and we'll add you to other website for no charge! In September 2006, we added our new theatre website, LiverpoolTheatreGuide.com as we felt it would benefit all our Manchester users as Liverpool has many big names and top productions playing there and is fairly close by. In November 2006, we added our BirminghamTheatreGuide.com website too. In May 2007, we added our OxfordTheatres.com website. We intend to add other theatre guides in the future for other cities, including Nottingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sunderland, Bristol and Cambridge. |
| | | How do you get listed or advertise with us? | | |
 | Although we are a business, we are not in this for the money and trying to 'make a quick buck' from people. We do not charge big fees. Drop of us a line and tell us how we can benefit you. What can we do to promote your theatre and shows? We can add you to our 'other venues' page, adding your theatre details - your theatre logo, your postal address, website address, email address, telephone numbers, book tickets online details, how to get to your theatre, etc... | | We can also offer you the opportunity to have your current and future productions added to our theatre calendar which is visited by many of our online customers. We also have a mailing list of over 3,000 people (this is growing by the day) and we can mention your theatre and latest productions in our mail newsletters. In return, we would want our website promoted on your website, ideally, not just on your links page, but somewhere on your site where we'll be seen. We have many banners for you to choose from too. Go to our linking page to see the banners we offer. If you'd prefer a different banner advertising our sites, we can make one for you to add to your site which will fit in with the look of your site, blending in with the colours on your site and the general appearance of your site. Other ways you could promote our site would be to add us in your theatre programmes and basically 'word of mouth', telling friends to log on to www.manchestertheatres.com We are proud of our site and want people to know about us. If you love the theatre in Manchester and the North West, our website is relevant to you. |
