EXCLUSIVE
OFFER - 2 TICKETS FOR THE PRICE OF 1 TO SEE
THIS COMEDY PLAY AT THE LOWRY THEATRE.
Manchestertheatres.com and
The Lowry are pleased to be
able to offer a TWO FOR ONE ticket offer*
on Spike Milligan’s Adolf Hitler: My Part
in His Downfall – winner of the Whats
On Stage 2010 “Best Regional Production”
as voted for by the public! Tickets must be
booked by Monday 22nd of March and are valid
for Tue 6 – Thu 8 April shows only.
Banish
the Winter blues and join us at The Lowry for
a night of comedy, nostalgia, favourite wartime
hits and jazz classics.
This
delightful comedy with music vividly recreates
a bygone era as Spike and his jazz quartet entertain
the troops from Bexhill-on-Sea to Naples. Using
Milligan’s own words, the show joyously
fuses comedy, song and dance; showing how humour,
music and comradeship enabled a hapless bunch
of young men to prevail against the might of
the Nazi war machine.
A
multi-talented ensemble of actor/musicians play
members of Spike’s band led by newcomer
Sholto Morgan in an acclaimed performance as
Spike. The gags come thick and fast and, when
the music starts, they raise the roof with a
rousing mix of standards and original comic
songs. Songs include the jazz greats Chattanooga
Choo Choo, Ain’t Misbehavin’, In
the Mood, Honeysuckle Rose and many more. Warning:
Contains barrack room humour.
The
offer only applies for the production taking
place at the Lowry Theatre.
