Merseyside hero Ian Prowse has formed two successful bands Pele and Amsterdam. Pele released 3 albums on Polydor/M&G Records. Six singles troubled the lower ends of the UK charts but abroad they scored hits in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Holland and most notably a Number One in South Africa with 'Megalomania'. Pele were a noted live act completing nine tours of the U.K.. Ian then formed Amsterdam and their first single for Beat Crazy Records 'The Journey' was a UK top 40 single in February 2005. Follow up single 'Does this train stop on Merseyside' also hit the UK Charts.

THEATRE OF HATE
Friday 17th May 2019

Theatre Of Hate’s debut double-A-side single, “Legion”/”Original Sin”, topped the independent chart in 1980, and “Westworld”, their debut album, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album, “Do You Believe In The Westworld?” has become an anthem.

FLAMIN' GROOVIES

The Flamin' Groovies story goes all the way back to 1965 when the band began as the Chosen Few in their hometown of San Francisco, California. After a name change and a self-released 10 inch album called “Sneakers”, which sold amazingly well, the band caught the attention of Columbia who signed them up and sent them into the studio with a big budget to record their first real album, “Supersnazz”, on the Epic label.
