Announcing Corries's Connor McIntyre & Les Dennis as The Ugly Sisters in Cinderellam

Following the success of last year’s Dick Whittington, Qdos Entertainment return to the Opera House this Christmas with another must-see family pantomime, Cinderella, and today have announced the first stars joining the line-up as the Ugly Sisters!

Connor McIntyre has a range of TV and film credits, but is best known for his current role in ITV’s Coronation Street. Since joining in 2013, Connor quickly rose to fame playing the villainous Pat Phelan and is one of soap-land’s ultimate baddies.

Joining him is TV presenter, comedian and actor Les Dennis. His recent theatre work includes the UK tours of Art and The Addams Family, where he played the lovable Uncle Fester. He also joined Coronation Street in 2014 playing Michael Rodwell – a petty criminal who met his demise at the hands of his fellow Ugly Sister!

With further star casting to be announced later in the year, Cinderella features all of the ingredients of the perfect pantomime; laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery and special effects, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses for all the family to enjoy!
