Quatuor Danel with David Fanning & Michelle Assay - Dvorak’s Piano Quintet no 2
The leading French string quartet - who have been "Quartet in Residence" at the University of Manchester since 2005 - are joined by pianist and University of Manchester Professor of Music, David Fanning, for a performance of Dvorak’s Piano Quintet no 2; and violinist Marc Danel is joined by David and his wife Michelle for a performance of Enescu’s Pastorale, Menuet Triste et Nocturne.
The Quartet will also play Sergei Samsonov’s arrangement of Prokofiev’s Visions Fugitives, a work originally composed for piano.
