To Kill A King

The Leeds-born, London-based indie band announce a UK headline tour to commemorate the ten-year anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album, ?Cannibals With Cutlery.? The five-piece, who have been on hiatus following the release of their third album ?The Spiritual Dark Age? in 2019, will embark on a six-date tour featuring a track-for-track performance of the album in addition to long-standing fan-favourites. ?Cannibals With Cutlery,? released in 2013, showcased the foundation of their signature sound, and was praised for its honest songwriting, anthemic melodies, and experimental instrumentation.
Frontman Ralph Pelleymounter says ?There?s a genuine excitement among us about playing these songs. Learning them all again reminds me how elated we were to be making our first album and that we poured so much feeling into each song. We can't wait to get back to some of our favourite cities to share that feeling with the fans again.?
After releasing three albums, 2013?s ?Cannibals With Cutlery?, 2015?s self-titled follow-up and 2018?s ?The Spiritual Dark Age,? the band took a hiatus to focus on other musical endeavours. The upcoming tour is a return to the stage for a band known for their passionate live performances. The tour takes in some of the band?s favourite venues, starting in Manchester on 25th January and culminating in a show at The Garage in London on 3rd February.
