The Booker Prize 2023 Winner (15)
The first public event with the winner of the Booker Prize 2023, will be held at HOME in partnership with global film distributor and streaming service MUBI.
Following the winner announcement on Sunday 26 November, the newly crowned author will be in conversation discussing their book and a film that’s been chosen to complement it.
Following the Q&A, there will be a screening of the film. There will be signed books available to buy from Blackwell’s after the event.
Here are the six authors in the running for the prize and their paired films:
Study for Obedience by Sarah Bernstein, screens with La Ceremonie.
If I Survive You by Jonathan Escoffery, screens with The Stuart Hall Project.
This Other Eden by Paul Harding, screens with Daughters of the Dust.
Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, screens with In My Room.
Western Lane by Chetna Maroo, screens with Aftersun.
The Bee Sting by Paul Murray, screens with Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.
