What's On at Heaton Park, Manchester

Heaton Park is the largest park in Greater Manchester and boasts a golf course, golf driving range, boating lake, an animal farm, an adventure playground, an observatory, pitch and putt course, ornamental gardens, and the only flat green bowling greens in Manchester.  The park itself is listed Grade II by Historic England.

Heaton Park is perhaps best known for hosting both the Oasis and Stone Roses reunions among other homecoming shows, for the likes of New Order and The Courteeners, or perhaps for the 1982 visit of Pope John Paul II who celebrated Mass in Heaton Park with over 100,000 people!
