WHAT'S ON AT THE ETIHAD STADIUM, MANCHESTER
The award-winning Etihad Stadium is of course famous for being home to Manchester City Football Club and has a domestic football capacity of around 55,000, which can be expanded for music concerts. Located in SportCity, and also known as the City Of Manchester Stadium, the venue was originally built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games as an athletics arena before being converted into a football stadium.
Etihad has hosted a wide variety of world sporting events and music concerts and events, including the Rugby World Cup, UEFA Women’s Championship, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Coldplay. It is even licensed for marriage ceremonies!
As well as Manchester City’s games, other upcoming events to look forward to at Etihad Stadium include regular stadium tours, Take That – Circus Live Tour, and The Weekend. See what’s on at the Etihad below and book tickets online.
