The Mission

The Mission are an English gothic rock band formed in Leeds, 1986, by Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams after they left their previous band The Sisters of Mercy.

With Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones producing their UK no.2 charting album “Children”, in 1988, they shifted musically towards bombastic hard rock however have remained iconic in the goth genre, selling millions of albums and scoring Top 20 hits such as “Wasteland”, “Tower Of Strength”, and “Butterfly On A Wheel”.
