What's On at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester

Hope Mill Theatre is an award-winning venue founded by William Whelton and Joseph Houston in 2015.  It is one of the most successful and reputable independent venues in England.  It has a capacity of 145 and hosts musicals, plays, comedy, music, as well as its own theatre school. 

A former cotton mill, Hope Mill is a Grade II listed building.  It both produces and welcomes touring companies.  Hope Mill Theatre is home to numerous premieres, including Lizzie The Musical, The Gap, and To Wong Foo.  Other shows include Rent, Passion, The Wiz, and staged concerts such as Gypsy and Nine.

Hope Mill Theatre have a small free car park on site, but spaces cannot be guaranteed.  There is on street parking which is limited to 90 minutes. There is a paid-for car park near to New Islington Metrolink Station.  Click here for further information.

Manchester Piccadilly is the closest train station to Hope Mill Theatre.  From there, New Islington tram stop is just one stop over and the venue is a 3 minute walk.

The capacity of Hope Mill Theatre is 145.  Seating plans may vary depending on the production.
