Melding klezmer, post-rock, indie, jazz, art-pop, and an often intense spoken word delivery, the Mercury Prize nominated Cambridge six-piece's unique concoction creates a singular sonic middle ground that traverses classical minimalism, indie-folk, pop, alt rock and a distinct tone that is unique to the band.

Having rapidly risen from starting out on London’s DIY stages in 2019, their 2021 debut album, For the First Time, reached no.4 in the UK charts - bettered by November 2022's UK no.3 "Ants from Up There" - and saw them declared "Britain’s best new band" by Mojo; with the Quietus going one further and suggesting "the entire world".
