GRAMMY-nominated Niger guitar virtuoso Bombino has been hailed as the “Sultan of Shred.”
Bombino blends traditional Saharan rhythms with rock, blues, and reggae, crafting hypnotic, high-energy performances that transport audiences straight to the heart of the desert.
His virtuosic guitar work, soulful vocals, and driving grooves have earned him comparisons to legends like Jimi Hendrix and Ali Farka Touré.
His music is sung in Tamasheq and he was the subject of the documentary film Agadez, the Music and the Rebellion.
