Freddy Gillmore
Young Manchester-based singer, songwriter and producer Freddy Gillmore learnt jazz at a young age, studying at RNCM, and draws vocal inspiration from the likes of Chet Baker and Amy Winehouse, opting for a dirtier and less traditional jazz vocal.
While he writes music in a band context, he taught himself to produce through making hip-hop beats as a teen and consequently describes his sound as "band music produced with a hip-hop ear".
