HMTA Open Day

Come down and meet the team behind Hope Mill Theatre Arts. Open to students, considering applying for entry in 2026 or 2027. Hope Mill Theatre Arts (HMTA) will be the first higher education training programme directly associated with a producing venue, allowing students to gain first hand knowledge, insight and experience into the Musical Theatre industry.?Launching in September 2026, HMTA will offer a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Performance offering an opportunity for many grass roots young people from across Greater Manchester and the North of England to train closer to home, making Musical Theatre training more accessible.? HMTA will also offer a boutique style training. Through its association with Hope Mill Theatre, students will also have the opportunity to gain experience in other areas of the industry. The Industry is constantly changing and adapting, and training needs to be at the forefront with what students are learning, making sure we are training industry ready students, with a clear understanding of the path ahead.??
