Described by Rolling Stone as "The most beautiful show in the world right now", "Omar Sheriff" is the new multi-cultural project with a jaw dropping live production which unites, and includes, and definitely entertains, from Karpe (previously known as Karpe Diem) - the most popular hip hop act in Scandinavia - and Quickstyle - the legendary global dance crew who won Norway's Got Talent in 2009. Both acts are children of a generation of immigrants and refugees from all over the world, who fled to Norway to create a home.
Having filled Oslo Spektrum to the brim over ten nights with a total of 110.000 screaming fans, their ‘Omar Sheriff’ collaboration mixes Norwegian with Arabic, Gujarati and English in a way no one has done before. The entire project went straight to the top of the Spotify Top 50 Norway Chart and broke the Norwegian streaming record for an album – of all time.
