La Casa Entre los Cactus (12A) + Q&A with Carlota González-Adrio

Writer/Director Carlota González-Adrio answers a Q&A following the screeening of her feature debut, "The House Among the Cactuses".

Adapted from a recent best-selling novel of the same name, González-Adrio makes excellent use of the bucolic scenery, with a subtle soundtrack and a talented cast (including nine-year-old identical twins).

In a remote corner of the island of Gran Canaria in the late 1970s, Emilio and Rosa have created a perfect family home for their five daughters, all named after flowers: Lis, Iris, Melisa, Lila and Dalia. But a dark secret lurks beneath the idyllic surface, one that threatens to destroy this secluded, personal paradise.
