Ladybarn
A band equally inspired by Led Zeppelin as they are by Miles Davis, Salford University formed, Manchester based three-piece post-rock group Ladybarn have set out to explore light and shade through the means of Jazz harmony, Alternative Rock and Pop hooks.
The smooth blend of Ollie Walsh’s rich vocal tones and soulful guitar chords, Julian Wickenden’s melodic bass hooks and Zak Osborne’s flowing drum kit style transport listeners through high energy break-beats and heartfelt slow jams.
Ladybarn’s music uses approaches to jazz harmony and electronic effects to showcase a vast range of timbres and soundscapes, seamlessly transitioning from intimate ballads to explosive and impassioned moments.
Drawing inspiration from an endless list of genres, the trio’s sound is a melting pot of diverse influences, reflecting their passion for a wide range of styles.
