Nothing But Thieves

Formed in Southend-on-Sea in 2012, Nothing But Thieves bring together the melodic hooks of indie-pop with anthemic, stadium-ready rock. The quintet began drawing attention with a handful of EP releases ahead of their 2015 self-titled debut full-length. Of that record's many singles, Trip Switch was by far the most successful, taking the band to No.1 on the stateside Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The album's release cemented their popularity both in the United States and at home, also breaking into the top ten on the UK album chart.
Comprised of vocalist Conor Mason, guitarists Joe Langridge-Brown and Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price, Nothing But Thieves simultaneously made a name for themselves on the live circuit. Equally at home with heavier rock counterparts or on indie and pop festival bills, the five-piece quickly established a wide crossover appeal that saw them secure mainstream radio attention.
Their success continued with the release of 2017's Broken Machine, which peaked at No.2 on the official UK album chart. Lead singles Amsterdam and Sorry preceded the album, signifying an evolution in their melodic sound. As well as supporting Muse and Biffy Clyro, and appearing at Reading and Leeds Festival, TRNSMT and others, Nothing But Thieves dropped their What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way? EP in 2018. They also revealed two covers: Gnarls Barkley's Crazy and Jeff Buckley's ballad, Lover You Should Have Come Over.
In 2020, the band announced their third studio album Moral Panic, preceded by the singles Is Everyone Going Crazy?, Real Love Song, Unperson, and Impossible. Lead single Is Everyone Going Crazy? maintained its position on the BBC Radio 1 playlist for a mammoth eight weeks, securing over 12 million streams. They revealed they'd be celebrating the album's release with a headline tour across the UK and Europe, including a huge headline show at London's The O2 in October 2021.
