The Quatuor Danel - the leading French string quartet, who have been "Quartet in Residence" at the University of Manchester since 2005 - are into their 19th season of evening concerts at the University with a typically adventurous programme.
The Danels’ recent CD recordings have revealed the Tchaikovsky string quartets as compelling masterpieces and have set new standards for their interpretation. Here is a rare chance to hear all three in the most electrifying performances you will ever experience.
