Meet alt-indie artist Run Remedy aka Robin Koob: the Manchester-based queer escapee of evangelical America, creating catchy, touching, and occasionally irreverent tunes.
A shoe-gaze violinist by trade, Robin’s particular flavour of indie is laced with equal parts grief and goof, playfully exploring themes of transatlantic struggle, familial rejection, and forbidden first kisses with ‘genre bending brilliance’ (BBC Radio MCR). Her music is ‘…beautiful’ (Guy Garvey BBC 6 Music) and perfect for anyone who enjoys a good laugh with their cry.
