Bringing together traditions of Indian and Western Classical music, in this collaborative performance the Scottish Ensemble and Leeds-born sitarist Jasdeep Singh Degun - one of Britain’s leading voices in the Indian Classical tradition - will spin a musical tale.

Driven by the beautiful spontaneity of the Indian Classical tradition, you’ll be transported through layers of mesmerising melody with Jasdeep’s music complementing the ancient traditions of raags with contemporary compositional techniques to create sparklingly cinematic music for sitar and strings.

Along the way, you’ll experience music from his Anomaly album, Western classical string repertoire, and the Manchester première of a new work by Jasdeep.
