Space Monkeys
Manchester band Space Monkeys were the last act signed to Factory Records, between 1995 and 2000.
In 1997 their debut album 'The Daddy Of Them All' sold in excess of 100,000 copies worldwide with the single "Sugar Cane" reaching no. 58 in the U.S. Billboard charts and their song "Drug Soup" featured in the soundtrack of the Gwyneth Paltrow movie Sliding Doors.
Their second album "Escape from the 20th Century," remained unreleased until 2013, following the collapse of Factory Records and after brifly reuniting in 2015, 2020 saw the launch of their first new material in 20 years, "Modern Actions" featuring the late great Denise Johnson.
