The Offspring
Straddling punk, alternative rock, grunge and metal, Californian stadium rockers The Offspring have topped the charts around the world since bursting on to the scene in 1989.
Their oft-ignored sense of humour, slower tempos and stop/start dynamics has seen them skewering fickle cultural appropriation by suburban teenagers with a Latin-flavoured alternative rock sound, which has proven massively successful scoring UK Top 20 hits like "The Kids Aren't Alright", "Why Don't You Get a Job?", "Want You Bad", "Original Prankster", "Hit That" and the 1998 chart-topper "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)".
Original frontman Dexter Holland and guitarist Noodles remain present from their ever-changing line-up.
