AN ORCHESTRAL CELEBRATION OF THE LIFE, MUSIC AND LEGACY OF NINA SIMONE, WITH STORIES FROM HER PERFORMANCE AT HULME'S 'NIA CENTRE' IN 1991.

Back by popular demand, April 2019 saw the debut performance of The Untold Orchestra's show 'Nina: An Orchestral Rendition' at Hulme's NIAMOS Theatre.

A venue with a rich history housing performances from artists and creatives that have shaped society and culture on both a local and international level, the NIAMOS opens it's doors for what promises to be a special evening remembering one of the greatest artists of all time - Nina Simone.

Joined by guest vocalists, a 25 piece orchestra will take to the stage and perform various hits from Nina Simone as well as some of the lesser known tracks, interspersed with poetry and storytelling from members of the local community who were present at her famous 1991 performance.
