Afrika Fuentes
Afrika Fuentes is a Manchester-based soulful singer and songwriter from Madrid who is also an accomplished pianist and charismatic performer who plays a mix of pop, soul and R&B.
Having won the BBC New Talent Award for new songwriters in 2008, Afrika begun her songwriting career under the mentorship of Cathy Dennis, hit songwriter for artists like Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue, co-writing the song "Ay Dios mío" by Sweet California, which appeared on their Spanish chart-topping album "3" in 2017.
In 2012 she signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV and currently writes and produces music for pop artists worldwide, collaborating with Grammy winning producers like Rayito (Shakira) and writing for pop and Latin artists such as Sweet California, BTS, Twice, Red Velvet, and Super Junior.
