The son of Senegalese percussionist Mor Thiam, chart-topping New Jersey R&B star AKON is best known for the 2005 international smash hits "Lonely", and "Smack That (featuring Eminem).
He has enjoyed great success in the UK with other Platinum-selling singles, such as "Don't Matter", "Right Now (Na Na Na)", "Locked Up" (featuring Styles P), and "I Wanna Love You" (featuring Snoop Dogg) among other Top 10 hits.
