Band on the Wall celebrate 50 years since their reopening with a spectacular day of live music, and an archival exhibition showcasing our venue’s rich history. This milestone event features special guests, beloved local talent, and an unforgettable evening of soul, jazz, and hip-hop.

The celebration continues with a night of soul, hip-hop, and jazz, headlined by Manchester’s finest: Children of Zeus and Secret Night Gang.

Children of Zeus, the dynamic duo of Konny Kon and Tyler Daley, bring their signature blend of UK street soul, R&B, and hip-hop. Since forming in 2015, their albums Travel Light and Balance have earned global acclaim for their lyrical honesty and timeless sound, shaping Manchester’s neo-soul scene.

Secret Night Gang, led by Kemani Anderson and Callum Connell, delivers an uplifting fusion of jazz, funk, soul, gospel, and R&B. Signed to Brownswood Recordings and handpicked by Gilles Peterson, their vibrant live shows have lit up festivals like Montreux and North Sea Jazz, earning a nomination for Breakthrough Act of the Year at the 2021 Jazz FM Awards.
