Bringing out the hidden joy in all of us, the Edinburgh Festival regular and comedy circuit headliner is performed by Birmingham-based Stockport comic actress Janice Connolly, a veteran of the Manchester comedy scene who is also well known for her role as Holy Mary in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, and Max & Paddy's Road to Nowhere.
In 2017, she was awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Years Honours list in recognition of her contribution to community arts through her work with Birmingham's Women and Theatre group, where she is artistic director and founder member.
