The Big House made their Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut with Blaze FM in 2025, an explosive piece of political theatre weaving Grime, Garage, Drill and Jungle tracks through an electrifying eighty minutes of powerful performance. Now, Blaze takes the fire from the studio to the road in a 2026 regional tour.

Blaze FM blasts from a rundown council flat in Hackney, laying the foundations of Grime, now one of Britain's most celebrated subcultures of music. But in the midst of court orders, DTI signal

cuts, and outright attacks against Black music, the family fight for their right to exist.

Co-written by acclaimed Grime MC Jammz and playwright James Meteyard (Electrolyte) and directed by TBH Artistic Director Maggie Norris, Blaze FM was created in direct response to issues faced by members of The Big House.
