A singular artist, known for challenging conventions in non-melodic and ambient music forms, San Antonio experimental musician Claire Rousay masterfully incorporates textural found sounds, sumptuous drones and candid field recordings into music that celebrates the beauty in life’s banalities.

Her music is curatorial and granular in detail, deftly shaped into emotionally affecting pieces, sculpting compositions from obsessive field recordings, inserting voice-to-text, percussion played via text message sounds, conversations, and daily life.

The quiet "ambient" radical, sifts her sensurreal style into sublime music that carefully frays the fabric of time and space. Gorgeous sounds that fall thru the cracks between American chamber music group Rachel's, Mary Lattimore, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Machinefabriek, Oliver Coates and Julianna Barwick.
