Dan Burnett
Harrogate-based Dan Burnett is a "triple threat": an incredibly soulful singer, an award-nominated musician, and an internationally acclaimed songwriter. With influences rooted in soul, acoustic, funk, and blues, Dan's original music tells stories about his experience of life, love, and heartbreak.
Artists covered include Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Ray Charles, Bill Withers, James Taylor, Nina Simone, and Joe Cocker.
Along with live performance and tuition, Dan is a session musician/writer for commissioned projects and TV/film library music. His compositions have featured in the Hollywood film "Stolen" (starring Nicholas Cage) and the US TV series "Supernatural", as well as in many international commercials and programmes, while his previous clients include The Savoy London, The Football Association, Channel 4, The Ivy Restaurants, and various celebrity parties.
