Di Voci is an award-winning women?s choir, founded in 2007 and based in Altrincham.They sing works written in each of the last four centuries, including those by Arcadelt, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Elgar, and others from late 20th and 21st century composers of choral music e.g. Bob Chilcott, Sarah Quartel, Ola Gjeillo, Eric Whitacre and Sasha Johnson Manning.Add to that wonderful mix popular works from Bernstein, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel and Billy Joel and you will find something for all musical tastes. Enjoy!Ashton on Mersey Showband were formed early in 1973 as the school band of Ashton on Mersey School, Sale, Cheshire. The band?s repertoire now boasts music from the 40?s, marches and big band numbers through to arrangements of the greatest musicals, Michael Bubl? and even Take That and Oasis! Over the years, the band has raised over 1 million pounds for local, national and military charities and looks forward to continuing that work for many years to come. Presented by Sale Festival
