Dom Joly

Dom Joly is a multi-award winning comedian and writer, best known for his smash hit hidden camera series Trigger Happy TV that sold to over 80 countries around the world.

Dom recently brought back an updated and brand new series of Trigger Happy to huge acclaim for All4 and Channel 4.

Dom has also written and starred in; This is Dom Joly (BBC3), World Shut Your Mouth (BBC1), Dom Joly’s Excellent Adventure (Sky 1), Dom Joly’s Happy Hour (Sky1), Dom Joly and the Black Island (CH4) and Fool Britannia (ITV1).

His new TV series How Beer Changed The World is currently airing in 59 countries.

Dom is a former diplomat and political producer turned columnist writing for the Independent and The Sunday Times.

He is also an award winning travel writer whose books include – The Dark Tourist, Scary Monsters and Super Creeps and Here Comes The Clown.

Dom is also an Ambassador for Save The Children.

He lives in Cheltenham with his family, two dogs and a gangster cat.

His book The Hezbollah Hiking Club was published June 2019 and Dom embarked on a major UK tour – Dom Joly’s Holiday Snaps – in early 2020 to promote the book. Dates were extended into 2021.
