Dr Syntax
Known for his unique style, deep vocal tone, and humorous social commentary, Brighton-based rapper Ben Hughes (aka Dr Syntax) has become a highly regarded name in UK hip-hop since he first emerged from the Manchester scene as a student in 2004; his name becoming synonymous with acclaimed Manchester hip hop jazz collective The Mouse Outfit and his collaborations with Manchester-based producers Pete Cannon and Tom Caruana.
Best known for his comedic rap songs and ever-engaging live performances, he has now formed a new band, featuring heavyweight Bristolian musicians MC Binbags and Dur Brain (Binbag Wisdom), and Harry Stoneham (Waldo's Gift).
