Swedish power metal lords Dream Evil - named after the 1987 Dio album - are the brainchild of revered Gothenbury music producer Fredrik Nordström, one of the most prolific melodic death metal engineers in the country, having worked with the likes of In Flames, Powerwolf, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Opeth, At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, and Nightrage.
