#Forthepeople (formerly The Northenden Fringe Festival) returns with an all star cast of well known, up & coming & grass roots names populating shows and venues through out August.

Manchester favourite and winner of the Mercury Music award Badly Drawn Boy launches the festival. From being signed to his Manchester label Twisted Nerve, to acting & co staring with Joan Collins on classic hit 'Spitting in the Wind' to soundtracking Hugh Grant 2000s hit 'About a Boy' Damon Gough a.k.a Badly Drawn Boy (armed with guitar & beanie hat) is one of the country's most popular & recongnisable performers.

Alongside BDB the launch night will show case the immense talent of former Stone Roses/Simply Red & Ian Brown guitarist Aziz Ibrahim, plus Local funk troupe and fan favorites The Yowies.

Kicking us off is daughter of Manchester legend and Interstella front women Nico Harmony with a special guest DJ set from the cities most talked about and hyped band PASTEL (returning after headling the festival just two years ago)
