Funnybones

This brand new family show is a non-verbal adaptation of the well know children’s book Funnybones by Janet and Alan Ahlberg, adapted for the stage by Jessica Thanki as part of Developed With The Lowry.
Following the story of four scientists and their mission to get their dog working, they become skeletons and look for someone to scare.
The show uses non-verbal storytelling techniques to tell this well-known story by using visual aids and a mixture of sign mime, physical theatre and mime.
Jessica Thanki is a British South Asian artist and stage manager who has been stage managing since 2009, whom is now making the step change into directing.
