After initially finding mainstream success with pop duo The Marbles - who reached no.5 in the UK with the single "Only One Woman", Graham Bonnet enjoyed a solo career throughout the 1970s, until truly making his mark with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow in 1979, fronting the band on their album 'Down To Earth', which was propelled to global success by the hit singles 'All Night Long' and 'Since You Been Gone'.
It would be the sole studio record to feature Bonnet, who would make the inaugural Monsters Of Rock festival at Castle Donington in 1980 his final Rainbow show. Alongside his solo career, he would go on to front the Michael Schenker Group and Alcatrazz.
Although continuing in the melodic hard rock vein of Rainbow, Bonnet still brings much of his R&B roots to his music and his visual style, considered uncharacteristic of hard rock musicians, has been described as being a cross between Don Johnson in Miami Vice and James Dean.
