Hannah Roberts
Widely recognised as one of the outstanding 'cellists of her generation, and the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, the principal 'cellist of Manchester Camerata is equally at home as soloist or chamber musician, and has also performed as soloist with other orchestras such as the London Mozart Players, LSO, BBC Concert Orchestra, and Halle, while her duo recitals with husband, pianist and composer Simon Parkin are highly celebrated.
Hannah is greatly in demand as a teacher and is on the faculties of the RNCM and also a professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London, wirth her former students including the internationally acclaimed British ‘cellist Sheku Kanneh Mason and some of the world’s leading soloists, chamber musicians and orchestral principals.
