James and the Giant Peach

James and the Giant Peach

The perfect Easter theatrical treat for the young… and young at heart!

In this delightful stage adaptation by David Wood and presented by Altrincham Garrick, Roald Dahl’s classic tale is faithfully told by James himself, along with the insect characters – Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybird, and Earthworm.

This Roald Dahl classic is packed full of humour and ridiculousness for all ages.

James lives with Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker, the most revolting Aunts in England. They make him work and slave and never let him play with other children - his life is lonely and sad. Then one day he meets a mystical old man who gives him a bag that contains the strongest magic the world has ever known. When James accidentally spills the bag near an old peach tree, the most incredible things start to happen and James embarks on the adventure of a lifetime with the most amazing group of characters you could ever meet!

Prepare to be taken on a journey of crazy characters, creative costumes and colourful storytelling for the whole Family to enjoy!
