Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings (Bellowhead)
Bellowhead frontman and one half of Spiers & Boden, Jon Boden founded his band The Remnant Kings in 2009 to perform the album ’Songs from the Floodplain’, the first in his post-apocalyptic trilogy of self-penned albums.
They were reunited to record and perform ‘Afterglow’ in 2017, and in 2019 headed to the legendary Rockfield Studios to record the album ‘Rose In June’ (2019) focusing on more traditional material.
A new band album of mostly traditional songs ‘Black Against The Sun’ (Hudson Records) was released in September 2024.
