One of the UK’s boldest and brightest young talents, Mercury and BRIT Award nominated London neo-soul artist Joy Crookes weaves through topics such as mental health, relationships, and politics all with grace and sensitivity.
Growing up in London's Elephant and Castle area, Crookes' love of singing blossomed as a child after attending a jazz and blues workshop, she was discovered by her manager in 2013 age 15 after uploading a cover of Ray Charles' Hit The Road Jack to YouTube. Her debut album Skin reached no.5 in the UK.
