An uplifting, all-female, gig-theatre show from Greater Manchester-based theatre company Ordinary Glory that explores disordered eating – why it’s all about food and nothing to do with food.
Chances are someone you know has an eating disorder. So why don’t you know, and why do we think they’re about skinny women who can’t eat?
Grounded in an ethos of care, Joy Unspeakable presents the true testimonies of four women, each with a different eating disorder, and each at a different stage of recovery.
With large doses of anger, hope and joy, the play weaves physical theatre with live choral, folk and punk music on stage.
