Kabelo Motha aka Kabza De Small is often referred to as the “King of Amapiano”. He is considered one of the best-selling music artist and pioneers of the Amapiano genre. He played an instrumental role in popularizing the Amapiano genre as a whole, with his breakthrough in 2018.
Kabza began his career as a DJ in 2009, venturing in the genres: Afro-fused house and EDM before gaining production credits with Spotify South Africa naming Kabza De Small as the most-streamed South African artist in the platform for 2019 and has broke a new record of being the first album where all 26 tracks of his album were in the Top 30 of the Top 100 music chart on Apple Music, South Africa.
The album includes the smash hit “Sponono” which features African superstars Wizkid, Burna Boy, Cassper Nyovest and Madumane (DJ Maphorisa) and multiple features from local talent including Shasha, Focalistic, Daliwonga and more.
