Lavinia Blackwall
Described by The Guardian as being a "golden-throated, multi-instrumentalist songbird", soprano Lavinia Blackwall is the singer with Glasgow's acclaimed folk rock band The Trembling Bells.
Her clear soprano and the group’s acoustic leanings drew acclaim and comparisons to Pentangle, Fairport Convention, the Incredible String Band, and other British folk luminaries of the '60s and '70s - so much so that they participated in an Incredible String Band tribute concert at London’s Barbican.
Her angelic vocal's potent melodies tell the story of a better tomorrow that's wrapped in a contemporary folk blanket.
