Sir Oswald Stoll started the trend for Variety after WW1 and packed theatres welcoming audiences with the Stars of the day and a splendid array of variety turns with his twice nightly shows in London and the provincial theatres with Comedians, singers, acrobats, sand dancers, ballet stars, magicians, jugglers.
Mime artists, circus performers and the like.
Variety never died it was just resting, and in 2023 the tour filled with laughter, song, nostalgia and good old fashioned Variety includes the ever lovely Anita Harris, Hysterical Bernie Clifton, Fabulous Yorkshire double act The Grumbleweeds, Freddie (Parrotface) Davies, TVs Trickster Paul Zenon and our special guest star Tommy Cannon.
