Lemar
North London R&B vocalist Lemar first came to the world's attention on the BBC competition/reality show Fame Academy in 2002. Singer Beverley Knight saw his potential and invited him to perform a duet with her during a concert that was attended by key A&R people at Sony Music, who promptly signed him to a multi-year contract.
He won his first Brit Award in 2004 as Best Urban Act with three of his albums since going Platinum in the UK and spawning the Top 10 hits "Dance (With U)", "If There's Any Justice", "50/50 & Lullaby", "It's Not That Easy", "The Way Love Goes", "Another Day", and "Time to Grow"
