Louis Cole
Ebullient left-field Los Angeles "bedroom" pop wizard Louis Cole is a sickeningly talented multi-instrumentalist with a strong DIY aesthetic. He is on a mission to create deep feelings through music and is the figurehead of an LA jazz-adjacent scene that includes Genevieve Artadi (with whom Cole co-founded the best known as the co-founder of the electronic/avant-pop/jazz-funk duo Knower in 2009).
Despite using humour in his songs, he is actually a classically-trained jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist who plays drums, keyboards, guitar and bass, sings, writes and produces his material in his modest home studio, Cole is best friends with Thundercat, who has called him "one of Los Angeles's greatest musicians".
