LOVE**WORK

LOVE**WORK is a unique theatre experience by Swiss theatre-making company Arnold & Komarov Travelling Theatre inspired by real stories about work, love and everyday life, gathered from people in Switzerland, England, Pakistan and the Netherlands.

Blending humour, honesty and heartfelt storytelling, the show explores the connections between the things we do to survive, the people we care about, and the lives we build together.

On stage, a constantly changing world of cardboard boxes transforms before your eyes, creating a playful and inventive setting for the performance. Throughout the show, artists CickinDunt create live portraits of audience members, turning the theatre into a one-night-only gallery.

Warm, thought-provoking and often funny, LOVE**WORK brings together stories from different places and perspectives to celebrate the experiences that connect us all.

Expect an imaginative evening of theatre that sparks conversation, reflection and plenty of moments of recognition.

Reviews for previous work SHAME ON YOU
★★★★ 'It is life itself laid bare. Yet the experience itself is also gloriously alive as a piece of art; malleable, interactive, and confrontational in a way that only theatre can be as an artistic medium.' - The Skinny

★★★★ 'Thought-provoking meditation on shame...the duo performs with both vulnerability and poise.' - The Stage

★★★★ 'The brilliance of this disarming show is its exploration of an emotion we rarely interrogate without judgement.' - Voicemag

★★★★ 'This is what The Fringe is about. Amongstly all the comedy, cabaret, theatre and musicals you stumble upon something so strange, other-worldly and weird, almost spectacular in its conceit that it'll work. And it does. - NorthWestEnd
